To our Something Digital tribe,
Wow. It feels like it’s been a very long time since we’ve seen you all.
In a normal year we would have bought the community together a number of times by now. But 2020 is not a normal year.
COVID-19 has fundamentally changed the way we live, work and interact with others. And the reality is those changes are here to say.
We have also seen the crucial role that digital has played in both saving businesses and finding ways to thrive in this new normal.
And it is this speaks to the heart of what Something Digital is all about.
The 2020 festival has been dubbed ‘The Rebel Edition’ because, right now, the world needs people that are willing to come together and push boundaries. To get out there, to collaborate and forge our way in this BRAVE new world.
We’ve redesigned the entire event from the ground up to run as a true hybrid festival. Delivered both in-person and online.
That means that if, like us, you are missing those chance encounters, with people you haven’t seen since March, you can attend sessions, side events and other activations in real life.
Or if you are not ready to break up with your Ugg boots yet, you can participate online through our interactive virtual hub.
We are also embarking upon our most ambitions curated program and speaker lineup yet. Over 3 days, 85 speakers will present 49 sessions + 6 masterclasses, giving us the opportunity to cover a full spectrum of topics including:
- Digital projects
- Digital marketing
- Designing for growth
- Responsibility and trust
- Manufacturing & supply chains
- Real skills for a digital world
- And much much more
From smaller audiences spread across multiple venues, to pre-registration for blocks and enough break time between sessions for extra hygiene cleaning … we’re working with not one, but three, industry plans to keep you safe.
So today the call is to join us for Something Digital. To get out there and remember how much you love being with our incredible ecosystem.
Cheers (and see you soon),
Lis and Nad
