2019 Festival.

Digital is the electricity that powers our organisations and ultimately our lives. We are constantly looking for ways to do things better, bigger and faster and whether we like it or not, digital innovation is essential.

Something Digital was created to celebrate our digital ecosystem and help organisations in Brisbane and South East QLD to strengthen their digital capabilities across various business areas including marketing, business analytics, technology, leadership, customer design and operations.

For 2019 the Something Digital festival ran over 3 days in October and included 13 separate activations involving almost 1000 participants.
The 3 days were centred around:

Day 1: The Something School
Day 2: Something Digital
Day 3: Open Studios

Day 1: The Something School

New to the 2019 festival lineup was The Something School. The Something School provided 50 high school students from 8 different schools with the opportunity to join an immersive and inspirational day.

Focussing on all things digital and innovation including, we tackled; future cities, humanising digital, the future of work and tech for good.

The day was run in partnership with BOP Industries, a Brisbane based technology and education company on a mission to inspire the next generation of Digital Creators.
