Each year in Brisbane, more than 700 leaders, technologists, creatives and decision makers come together for 2 days of big ideas, practical skills and meaningful connection. We explore the technology shaping our future, from AI to emerging tech, and the human capability, culture and leadership needed to make it count.

Event Format & Program
Each day is organised into a series of session blocks across stages and workshop spaces, with breaks for movement, networking and exploration of activations.
Across two days, you’ll experience:

Startup Activations
Startup Alley: This year we’re bringing 25 of Queensland’s most exciting startups into the heart of Something Digital.
Lightening Pitches: Join us lunchtime each day for a series of 90 second lightening pitches. With 10 startups presenting each day, this is your chance to hear directly from founders about the problems they’re solving and the products they’re building.
Tech Talks: A dedicated space for founders, startups and scaleups to dive deeper into the opportunities and challenges of building technology businesses.
Networking Opportunities
Networking is a HUGE part of why many of us attend events, so we built networking into the heart of Something Digital.
In between our incredible on-stage content, there was plenty of time to meet and catch up with other attendees – whether it’s over a bite to eat, whilst getting your much needed caffiene fix, in our structured networking activities, or whilst winding down with end of day drinks.

When we say just bring yourself, we really mean it. Every ticket comes with a voucher to grab a meal for lunch from one of our food truck vendors. Still hungry after your meal? All the food truck vendors in our Food Zone will also accept EFTPOS and there are plenty of local cafes and bars.
The SD Venues
Something Digital comes to life in Brisbane’s renowned King Street Precinct.
Each venue has been hand-picked to suit its purpose, from big-picture talks to hands-on workshops, or a casual catch-up over a drink and a snack. And the best bit? They’re all within 300m of each other, so you can stroll between sessions (and never miss a beat).
The Tivoli
The iconic Tivoli acted as the main stage and HQ for Something Digital. The venue featured our outstanding curated content, Networking activities and mid-week Something Fest. networking drinks!

Set on the doorstep of the beautiful King Street and a mere 140m from the Tivoli you will find Rydges Fortitude Valley, home of our Tools & Skills stage and breakout space.

The Jubilee
A brisk stroll 300m down the road from The Tivoli is the iconic Jubilee Hotel, and the home of our Masterclasses and our mid-week Something Fest drinks.

Getting there
The central hub and main stage are located at The Tivoli on Costin Street, with the additional venues positioned just a few minutes away on foot. Moving between sessions across venues is straightforward, and most transitions take less than 5 minutes.
Parking
Street parking is available on surrounding streets in Fortitude Valley. Availability is generally better earlier in the morning.
The closest parking is available at King Street Parking, just a short 2–3 minute walk from The Tivoli. Additional parking is also available at the RNA Showgrounds and Valley Metro Car Park.
Public Transport
Train
The closest station is Fortitude Valley Station, located within short walking distance of all venues.
Bus
