What is Something Digital?

 

Something Digital is Queensland’s flagship conference for all things digital innovation.

 

Each year in Brisbane, more than 700 leaders, technologists, creatives and decision makers come together for two days of big ideas, practical skills and meaningful connection. We explore the technology shaping our future, from AI to emerging tech, and the human capability, culture and leadership needed to make it count.

 

It is where Queensland’s digital community shows up, challenges thinking and gets ready for what’s next.

 

How does Something Digital relate to Something Fest?

 

Something Digital is a headliner event within Something Fest, a broader multi-event festival celebrating digital, innovation and technology. Something Digital focuses specifically on digital innovation, strategy and capability building.

Event Format & Program

When and where is Something Digital 2026?

 

The festival will be held on 25–26 August 2026 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Exact venue details and session schedules are published on the Venues and Program pages.

 

What happens during the event?

 

Across two days, you’ll experience:

  • Keynotes and strategy sessions

  • Masterclasses and deep-dive workshops

  • Multiple program streams focused on practical digital skills

  • Structured and informal networking activities

  • Evening social events and community drinks

 

How is the program structured?

 

Each day is organised into a series of session blocks across stages and workshop spaces, with breaks for movement, networking and exploration of activations. The full program will be published in June, with topics that span strategy, tools, design, leadership and innovation.

Tickets & Pricing

What does my ticket include?

 

Your Something Digital ticket gives you access to:

  • Two full days of sessions, masterclasses and keynotes

  • Networking activities and community experiences

  • Bottomless coffee, food truck vouchers, afternoon icecream and other treats we may include along the way.

  • Evening drinks and social events

 

Can I attend other Something Fest events with my Something Digital ticket?

 

No. A Something Digital ticket grants access only to the Something Digital event. If you want access to Something Tech as well, you will need to purchase a Something Fest ticket. 

 

SomethingQ and other side events are ticketed seperately. Keep an eye on our emails and socials for announcements as the festival draws closer.

Are tickets refundable?

 

Tickets are non-refundable, but you may transfer your ticket to another attendee by emailing us at hello@somethingdigital.com.au with the new attendee’s details prior to the event. 

 

Do group discounts or scholarship tickets exist?

 

Yes. Group discounts are available. Groups of 4-7 save 10% on single ticket prices and groups of 8+ save 15%.

We currently do not have any scholarship tickets available.
 

Can I share my ticket with someone else on the day?

 

No. For fairness and safety, tickets are non-shareable. If you are caught sharing, your entry may be revoked. If you need a ticket that can be used across multiple events, please consider a Something Fest ticket.

Practical Information

Will any sessions be recorded or streamed?

 

As a festival focused on live connection and in-person collaboration, Something Digital sessions are not livestreamed or recorded. 

 

What should I bring to the festival?

 

Bring yourself and anything you feel will help you get the most out of the day (laptop or notebook for note taking etc).

Comfortable clothing is recommended for walking between venues and networking sessions.

 

Is there public transport, parking or accessibility info?

Networking & Community

Will there be networking opportunities?

 

Absolutely. Something Digital includes both structured networking sessions (e.g. speed networking) and informal interactions throughout the program. Evening drinks and social events also offer great opportunities to connect with peers. 

 

Who typically attends Something Digital?

 

Attendees include digital strategists, product and tech leaders, designers, data professionals, policymakers, founders and anyone engaged in or shaping digital transformation and innovation.
