Staying Covid-Safe

Life is slowly returning to normal, but we all need to play our part in keeping Brisbane Covid-Safe.
  • We ask that you stay at home if you are unwell, have a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue, shortness of breath, or have been in contact with a positive COVID-19 case.
  • At the venue there will be plenty of space. We ask you not to crowd up unnecessarily. It's up to all of us to help keep a sensible distance between one another.
  • It goes without saying that you should always do what feels right for you. Feel better wearing a mask, do that. Want to maintain a bit of extra distance whilst chatting, that's okay too. We are all in this together and encourage you to embrace the awkward.

Our Covid-Plan

The team behind Something Digital (Bright Humans) have been back to running in-person events since August 2020. From smaller workshops through to last year's 4 day festival and numerous large conferences since, the team have gained in depth understanding on what it takes to run a Covid-safe event.

We already have our rough plans ready to go, but in a Covid world restrictions both ease and tighten with just a moments notice, so the team will be paying close attention to the announcement of any changes in requirements. If any changes are announced we will review how this may impact Something Digital.

Some of our key Covid-safe strategies are included below. Have a specific question or two? Drop us a line on hello@somethingdigital.com.au.

Covid-Safe Plan.

We love a plan! Our Covid-Safe Plan follows the necessary government requirements, and will continue to be updated as required.

Contact Tracing.

We will be using the QLD app and checking attendees in each time they enter a venue. It's us doing our bit to keep tabs of everyone's movements.

Social Distancing.

We've all learned that distancing is important. Current restrictions require us to have 1 person per 2 square meters which we will ensure happens at all venues.

Extra Hygiene.

We're stocking up on hand sanitiser and cleaning supplies, to keep you safe (and clean!)

Stop. Drop. Sanitise.
