Getting involved.
Something Digital is a community built from the ground up in collaboration with some of the amazing individuals in our beautiful region. Throughout each year we bring together participants from all corners of the digital ecosystem including startups, small businesses, enterprise and government from across all industries.
There are a number of ways you can get involved with Something Digital including:
One. Attend an event.
Join us at one of our numerous activations throughout the year.
Whether you are keen to foster digital thought leadership; identify growth opportunities for your organisation; learn about digital innovations; understand the human element in technology or simply want to network with like minded people, Something Digital is for you.
Some of the events we run throughout the year include: our Festival Warmup and of course the main Festival in August.
Two. Become a partner.
We are inviting leading organisations who value digital innovation to help us shape Something Digital. All partnership packages are outcome driven, to enable you to leverage Something Digital to achieve your organisational objectives.
Or perhaps you have a random idea you want to float. We are always keen to find new ways to create mischief with our finest and brightest!
Three. Apply to speak.
Each year we search high and low for thought leaders, mischief makers and digital legends like yourself, to join us in creating Something Digital for Queensland!
From the multiple stages at the festival to our many activations throughout the year, we are always on the hunt for individuals who have a story to tell and wisdom to share.
Four. Volunteer.
We’re passionate about nurturing and giving opportunities to our next generation of digital leaders. With this in mind, we offer the limited volunteer positions we have to those who are currently studying and yet to start their career.
All volunteers will be asked to help out on one day of the festival and in return we will gift you a pass to attend the second day of the festival on us.
