Something Digital is a collaborative creation, built with the passion and expertise of incredible individuals from across our beautiful region. Each year, we unite the digital innovation ecosystem to spark new ideas and forge connections that shape the future of our organisations and communities.
There are a number of ways you can get involved with Something Digital including:
1. Attend an event
Join us at one of our activations throughout the year including our warmups in May and July and the main festival in August.
Whether you are keen to foster digital thought leadership; identify growth opportunities for your organisation; learn about digital innovations; understand the human element in technology or simply want to network with like minded people, Something Digital is for you.

2. Become a partner
We invite leading organisations who value digital innovation to help us shape Something Digital. All partnership packages are outcome-driven to enable you to leverage Something Digital to achieve your organisational objectives.
Perhaps you have a random idea you’d like to float. We are always keen to find new ways to create mischief with our finest and brightest!

3. Apply to speak
Each year we search high and low for thought leaders, mischief makers and digital legends like yourself, to join us in creating Something Digital for Queensland!
From the multiple stages at the festival to our many activations throughout the year, we are always on the hunt for individuals who have a story to tell and wisdom to share.
4. Volunteer
We’re passionate about nurturing and giving opportunities to our next generation of digital leaders. With this in mind, we offer a limited number of volunteer positions to those who are currently studying and yet to start their career.
All volunteers will be asked to help out on one full day of the festival and in return we will gift you a pass to attend the second day of the festival on us. If you’re keen to volunteer, check out the opportunities on the Something Fest website.
Note: Volunteer places are currently fully allocated – however – you are welcome to apply and be waitlisted. We wil release places in order of application.
