As leaders in Queensland’s innovation ecosystem, we believe we have a responsibility to invest in the young people who will shape what comes next. That is why Future Leaders exists.
Created by Something Digital and delivered with BOP Industries, Future Leaders connects high school students to industry and real world experiences. It builds the skills, mindset and curiosity needed for what comes next.
Through curated youth activations as part of Something Fest, students step into Queensland’s digital innovation ecosystem, hear from the people building it, and explore how they might shape it themselves.
Future Leaders is delivered through 2 tailored experiences, allowing schools and families to choose the level of engagement that suits their students:
Something Digital Youth Delegates
Step into the heart of Queensland’s innovation ecosystem with a limited Youth Delegate ticket to attend 1 full day of Something Digital at The Tivoli, Brisbane on Tue 25 or Wed 26 August.
As a Youth Delegate you will:
- Attend one full day of Something Digital alongside industry professionals
- Hear from local pioneers and international voices driving change
- Connect directly with leaders shaping digital and innovation in QLD and beyond
Something School Breakfast Club
The Something School Breakfast Club invites high school students to join us during Something Fest week for a high energy morning of ideas, insight and connection.
Held on Thursday morning, the event features a light breakfast, informal networking and a focused Digital Power Hour designed to spark curiosity and expand thinking before the school day begins.
